Overview of Services Page

The Services page is used to indicate forthcoming services and special days. It is updated weekly so that the next service is at the top of the list.

Before the Service

If possible, the Services page will provide congregation members and guests with information about the service or or special event before the actual event. A lot of this information is provided by links on this page. Links are in red and are flagged with the § symbol. Congregation members and guests are encouraged to check out the links before the service. For more information on the use of links in this web site go to this page § .

Summer Services 2010

The congregation presents a series of summer services. The popular series is more informal with members and guests sitting in a circle. While there is no service handout, the service topics are stimulating, the discussion is lively and the quiet times are peaceful.

Previous Services

Once a service has taken place it is moved to the Previous Services pages. Frequently, a service may also result in items added to Reflective Links page and items being added to a photo album in the Photos page. Less frequently items can be added to the Hymn page or the Sermons page

A critical part of the service process is to reflect on and to explore the ideas and emotions that the guest speakers provided. Many speakers have suggested web sites related to their topic. Please check out our Reflective Links page § to see what the speakers and others have recommended for further investigation of the service topic.

On the other hand, you may be interested in just checking when a particular service was given. If this is the case please go to our Previous Services pages §.
