UUNITY & DIVERSITY CONFERENCE

The October 17 Conference has been Cancelled

Because of inadequate registration, the UUnity and Diversity conference that was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17 at UCN has been cancelled. Many thanks to all of those people who offered to billet out-of-town delegates, to Rhonda for being on food standby, to Bruce for helping to prepare the online registration and information material, and to the four members of UCN's Sexual and Diversity Committee who began the hard work of organizing this initiative in January. Thanks also to the CUC for granting $400 from the Sharing Our Faith Fund to support the conference.

The $400 in funds, minus the less-than-$20 that was spent on postage stamps to invite regional churches to the conference, will be delivered to CUC representatives in November when they visit our church.
